Okoi is a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He is an astute lawyer whose experience cuts across diverse spectrum of litigation practice, but with particular interest in Mental Health Law, Property Law, Banking and Finance, Energy and Environment Law, Labour and Industrial Relations, Maritime Law, Criminal Law, and Corporate Commercial. Since he joined the Firm, he has demonstrated excellent competence, and has successfully handled many litigation cases in most of the superior Courts of records in Nigeria.
Over the years, Okoi has also garnered considerable experience in transactional practices where he advised multination companies on merger and acquisition, real estate investment, regulatory and legal compliance, procurement of various licenses, equity investment etc.
Okoi has quite a number of publications on law related subjects including but not limited to Continuing Legal Education, Property Law, Criminal Law, Powers of the Nigeria Police Force and Mental Health Law. Some of his articles are published at BarristersNG.com and Simplylaw.com.ng.
He is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Branch, and he is duly accredited with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
